Apparently something about fall must make me have the urge to get things in order, seeing it is the only time I seem to update the blog. In all seriousness, I do love autumn for the order of it. August seems to be such a transitional month for a mother. As a kid, I rode out August thinking school would never start and the next grade was still miles away. Now, August 1st marks the end of summer and the beginning of forms! Immunization forms, address forms, enrollment forms, forms forms forms...YUCK! I hate forms! But here we are October 14th and it's already MEA. I remember MEA as half way to conferences (you know where my parents would hear about all my potential if I was just a little bit less concerned about being soooo social).

Here are some summer pictures...

We hung out at Brookie's beach at the end of September. It was an 80 degree day. Charlotte wanted to play with the other little girl on the beach. Kip and Tommy were content playing with trucks and "exploring nature" i.e. finding gross feathers on the beach.

For my dear friend half way around the world. Here are some updated photos and videos of the kiddies. Charlotte's face is still healing from her "bungee cord incident" with her brother.

Here is an update. End of summer. Honestly, where does the time go. I constantly feel dumbfounded when people ask what we have been up to and I seriously can't remember what we did the day before.

These kids are amazing. I can't believe how much I love them.

We have had a great summer, blessed with the best of family and friends. I don't think God intended anything more or less for us this summer.
